Center for Pragmatic Buddhism

Locations

CPB: Columbus

The Central Ohio Center for Pragmatic Buddhism.

Our work is the synthesis of Nikayan (early Indian), traditional Chinese Chan and Japanese Zen Buddhism, and the American Pragmatist tradition. We utilize Chan and Zen practice methods that resonate with Westerners, including the central practice of zazen. In addition to regular sitting, OPB teachers give weekly dharma talks and engage in group discussions in an open-forum atmosphere.

When & where

COCPB practice takes place in our Zendo, located on the second floor of Sensei Glenn’s house at 77 N. Brinker Ave., Columbus, OH 43204. Entrance to the Zendo is at the back of the house, then upstairs.

Practice is held each Sunday, 9:30am–12:00pm. All are welcome.
